Neil Dejos (de-hos)

Hi there! My name is Neil and I moved here in Canada at a young age from the Philippines and raised in the city of Calgary, Alberta. I remember drawing a sparrow on a whim during my elementary school and I really enjoyed it. That moment has stuck with me and been doodling ever since. My fascination of drawing people became a second nature for me throughout my life and eventually lead into an important decision in my life.

I decided to pursue art as a career since I was inspired with the process of visual storytelling and development in the entertainment industry. I went to University of Calgary for two years in the Bachelor of Fine Arts understanding which specific field that sparks my interest. My studies in university led to my focus of pursuing the Illustration program in Sheridan College with the support of my peers, friends, and most importantly my family.

I currently reside in the Toronto-ish area, where I experiment and challenge myself as an artist on a daily basis. Otherwise, you’ll often see me either fishing or hiking during my vacation days at the Rocky Mountains of Alberta.
